David Groves
Publications Director 

David is responsible for writing, editing and designing all publications, brochures and mailings, including WSLC Reports, the Legislative Position Papers, the WSLC Legislative Report, the weekly (during session) Legislative Updates, and election-related materials and mailings  He is webmaster of this site, and Editor of The Stand.

He joined the council in 1992 after working for five years as a newspaper copy/layout editor at the Carroll County (Md.) Times and the (Norfolk) Virginian-Pilot.  He left the Council in August 2007 and returned in June 2008.  He earned a B.S. in journalism from the University of Maryland. He and his wife, Dru, have three children, sons Jackson (16) and Adrian (14), and daughter Julia (12).
