Viona Latschaw
Project HELP Director
Viona runs the Project
Help program, a cooperative effort between the Washington State Labor
Council, the business community and the state Department of Labor and
Industries. The program's goal is to facilitate effective communication
and dispute resolution between workers and employers involved in workers'
compensation claims. Viona conducts a bi-annual conference, seminars and
countless workshops-by-request across the state that are devoted to
explaining our workers' comp system to labor and management
representatives. Along with the Project Help Claims Specialist Kathy
Petruzzelli, Viona’s mission is to ensure that all of these stakeholders
understand their rights and responsibilities under the law. Contact
