Kairie Pierce
Liaison for Community & Technical Colleges

As the WSLC's Labor Liaison for Community and Technical Colleges, a position created by a grant from the State Board of Community and Technical Colleges, Kairie works to increase participation of worker representatives on all college general and program advisory committees. She also provides "Roles and Responsibilities" training for college staff and labor members. 

Kairie's responsibilities include recommending policies and operating procedures for vocational programs to the State Board and informing college staff about labor's vocational programs. If you have any questions or are interested in being an Advisory Committee Member to your local college, please contact Kairie in Olympia at 360-943-0608 or kpierce@wslc.org.

Kairie previously served the WSLC as Project Help Claims Specialist, facilitating effective communication and dispute resolution between injured workers and employers involved in workers' compensation claims.
