The Washington State Labor Council and its affiliated unions have formed The Foundation for Working Families, a non-profit organization to help union members in times of hardship or disaster. Among the ways the Foundation is raising money is by urging union offices, rank-and-file members and others to purchase 100% American union-made coffee -- produced tree to pot by members of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union, the International Association of Machinists, and the United Food and Commercial Workers in Hawaii.
"Please consider utilizing this union coffee in your office or homes," said Al Link, Secretary-Treasurer of the Washington State Labor Council. "The rebate will go to a very worthy cause, union members in their time of need." If you do not want to order coffee, then please consider making a donation to the Foundation for Working Families and send it to the FWF, 314 First Ave. W., Settle, WA, 98119. If you need further information or have questions, please feel free to e-mail Karen White.
