The Washington State Labor Council and its affiliated unions have formed The Foundation for Working Families, a non-profit organization to help union members in times of hardship or disaster.
Among the ways the Foundation is raising money is by urging union offices, rank-and-file members and others to purchase 100% American union-made coffee -- produced tree to pot by members of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union, the International Association of Machinists, and the United Food and Commercial Workers in Hawaii.
This
excellent coffee is competitively priced and for every pack ordered, the
Foundation for Working Families receives a rebate. All monies the
Foundation receives go directly into the disaster relief/hardship fund.
The packets of coffee, which come with our own label promoting the
Foundation, can be ordered for your office use or personal home use and
comes in ground or whole bean.
"Please consider utilizing this union coffee in your office or homes," said Al Link, Secretary-Treasurer of the Washington State Labor Council. "The rebate will go to a very worthy cause, union members in their time of need."
