WOMEN'S COMMITTEE

The Women's Committee maintains an interest in issues of special concern to working women, encourages rank-and-file union women to seek and obtain leadership roles within their unions, and raises funds for leadership training scholarships for rank-and-file union women. It sponsors workshops and conferences related to these issues. Membership is not limited to women. This committee meets quarterly.
