Because of House rules negotiated for the 49-49 split, there were not sufficient working family issues brought to the House floor for a vote to objectively assess Representatives’ support for labor and working families.  Therefore, what follows are LIFETIME VOTING RECORDS for House members elected prior to 1998 (before the tie was established), and written comments for the rest.

Rep. John Ahern (R-6) -- Shows no interest in working with labor on working family issues.
Rep. Gary Alexander (R-20) -- 10%  (3 of 30)
