FRIDAY, OCTOBER 5 ▪ Saturday is the deadline to register the easy way to vote in Washington's Nov. 6 elections, by filling out a form and mailing it in. People can pick up a forms at post offices, libraries, city halls, fire stations, schools or the auditor's office and mail it by Saturday. People can register in person at county auditors' offices until Oct. 22. Forms also are at www.vote.wa.gov. Thought for the day:
