(March 28) -- Supporters of
federal health care reform celebrated with U.S. Sens. Patty Murray and Maria
Cantwell, U.S. Reps. Jay Inslee and Brian Baird, Gov. Chris Gregoire and
others at the Machinists Hall in South Seattle on March 28.

Jobs NOW!
(March 17) -- More than 600
building and construction trades workers from the Seattle metropolitan area
rallied downtown on St. Patrick's Day to demand the
"green-lighting" of major job-creating investments being delayed
by political wrangling. Read

Make Wall Street Pay!
(March 15) -- Several dozen protesters chanted
outside a Chase Bank branch in downtown Seattle, urging the
company and other big Wall Street banks to pay their fair share to maintain
state services and create jobs. Specifically, the protesters were angry that
powerful banking lobbyists in Olympia are fighting to maintain a $67 million
tax giveaway for out-of-state banks at a time that schools, health care and
other state services are being slashed. Read more.
