“Path to Power” Candidate Training

UPDATE: The application deadline has been extended to Tuesday, March 15, and the training is now offered at NO COST to participants.


Path-to-Power_frontAPRIL 14-15 — The Washington State Labor Council, AFL-CIO is partnering with the national AFL-CIO to host “Path to Power: A Political Candidate Training Program.” This training provides union members and local community activists with the tools and tips to run a successful political campaign and get elected in an effort to build power that will positively influence our communities. The Path to Power Political Candidate Training will be Thursday and Friday, April 14-15 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Red Lion, 607 E Yakima Ave. in Yakima. The training and hotel room are free. A reference from a union or community leader is required. Space is limited, so apply today to participate. Fill out the application (this PDF file must be open in Adobe Acrobat to fill out and submit electronically), provide references, and submit your application by March 15.
