Project Help

Assisting Washington's injured workers with the early and successful resolution of workers' compensation claims.

One of the services the Washington State Labor Council, AFL-CIO provides is Project Help. Since 1986, this program jointly administered by the WSLC and the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries, has assisted thousands of injured workers in the early and successful resolution of workers’ compensation claims.

Project Help provides educational and one-on-one claims assistance to all interested persons. One of its goals is to provide “sure and certain relief for workers” injured on the job and their families and dependents. Project Help’s staff works to expedite claims resolution, early return-to-work, and to promote safe and healthy workplaces.
