Digital Organizer

Sarah Tucker (she/her) joined the WSLC in November 2018 as Executive Assistant to the Secretary Treasurer following a two-year stint as Legislative Assistant to state Rep. Joe Fitzgibbon (D-White Center). In March 2021, she was named the WSLC’s Digital Organizer and now works with Communications Director David Groves to support the WSLC’s communications efforts, with a particular focus on social media outreach.

Sarah was activated in the labor movement through organizing in support of faculty and food service staff unionization while a student at Seattle University, and first worked with the WSLC on the successful 2016 statewide minimum wage and paid sick and safe leave Initiative 1433. She grew up in central California and spends most of her free time in Seattle hunting for the perfect burrito al pastor (recommendations always appreciated).
